Bath Paint & Waterpark

Last week I told the kids if they would get rid of their bath toys I would buy some new ones. They were getting pretty nasty. What was I thinking with bathtub paint? Take a look at the bath water. Brooke picked that out and Brady wanted bubbles like ten minutes into the bath Brooke is screaming its burning my hiney so we had to get rid of the bubbles and we definetly got rid of the fingerpaint. Poor kids had to just take some of the toys out of their toy boxes and make them "bath toys". We went to Bounce with friends on friday. I don't think the kids even bounced. All they want to do is the rock climbing. This week I am keeping Allison & Hank Powers while their babysitter is on vacation. I have them until thursday. I took the kids to the little water park out on ft. Jackson last thursday since I knew we would be stuck at home this week. It has not been as crazy as I thought it would be. I guess when your kids are older and we don't need a routine its hard to get use to having a baby around. I am glad Heath & I are done at two. The kids have three birthday parties this weekend so they will be back into the busy life by friday.

4th of July & Beach

On the 4th we went to the Powers to swim and then to church for a cookout and fireworks. On thursday morning we left for the beach. We stayed at the Powers place in Pirate Land and on friday Marc, Sheri, Carson and Kendel came down. The kids had a great time swimming and playing together. Saturday night we went to the Dixie Stampede. All that money spent and I think Brooke and Brady were most excited that I let them drink sweet tea. I am so against caffeine and children it just is not a good thing in my opinion. Anyways, we came home sunday afternoon and the kids were so tired and worn out they slept till 10:30 monday morning. Heath was off monday as well so we just did somethings around the house. Today was back to the normal routine. I am just trying to enjoy the summer before my baby is in school all day. Time has gone by way to fast. I know I sound like my parents but its true.
