Lemonade Stand & Bike

Two of the girls were on wach fox yesterday morning at 7:45 and they interviewed them for several minutes. Brooke didn't want to do it because she is shy & I didn't want her to miss school either. They will be at the IGA in Elgin this weekend.
They were also in the Kershaw County Current today. School is still going great. Brooke still loves it and Heath & I are loving their new 8:30 bed time. We went to Tys birthday party saturday morning and Brady was riding everyones bike so we decided last night to go ahead and get him a bike for his birthday and give it to him early. His birthday is not for another month but we went to Walmart and got it last night. When we brought it home for him because he had stayed with my parents his first comment was why didn't you get me two bikes? anyways, he loves it and today asked me to move his seat up more and take the training wheels off. Tomorrow Brady and I are babysitting my nephew so we will see how that goes.

Buddy Bear

Three days down and Brooke is still loving school. They have a class bear named Buddy and every night he goes home with someone in the class and you have to write down what adventure Buddy did with you and Mrs. Poeta reads it to the class. He goes home with you on your birthday and when you get picked. He went home with a little girl named Katie the first night because her birthday was on monday and then on tuesday Brooke got picked to take him home. She was so proud about the first hour after she got home then she was pretty much done with him unless Brady tried to hold him. Brady is getting used to Brooke being gone but we still miss her during the day. I am so use to being with her all day its hard to get use to her not being here. Bradys been playing with her Dora house and Barbies since shes not here to beat him up for messing with it (sorry Heath). I am already looking forward to saturday so we can sleep in just a little bit before a 10 a.m. birthday party. Oh, Can't forget to mention the tinkerbell book bag Brooke picked out herself. She asked me why she always had to have her name on stuff instead of getting to have kid things like everyone else so I gave in to this beautiful tinkerbell bag, lol!!!

1st Day of School

Brooke really enjoyed her first day of school. I asked her a few questions then said did anyone say they liked your dress and she said you are not gonna ask me that everyday like you did last year. We walked her into the class room & she said bye. All day long I was counting down the time to pick her up so I could hear about her day. I got in the car rider circle at 2:15 which is 25 minutes before school gets out and the first thing she says is why did it take you so long? They called a bunch of names before mine. I guess sometimes you can't win. She is not use to getting up until 9:00 - 9:30 so this is gonna be hard for her. We got in the bed at 8:15 tonight and she said this makes no since to go to bed when its still light outside and next thing I know she was snoring so she is exhausted but excited about kindergarten. Brady and I are going to miss her but we will come up with ways to stay busy I guess.

Beach Trip

We spent thursday - friday in Myrtle Beach with my whole family. We had a great time swimming, shopping, laying out and eating. The kids really loved the aquarium.

THE CHRONICLE

Ok, just in case some of you were wondering yes that was my baby girl on the front of the Camden Chronicle yesterday. Humor me and just pretend you read it because I am so proud.
I think my parents bought every extra copy left but if you get a hold of one and want it signed she will sign them for a small fee, lol!!! Also, they will be doing another lemonade stand in the next few weeks so I will let everyone know when it is and you can come buy you a cup.

Aaron turns 1

Well, my nephew turned 1 on the 7th and we had his birthday party last saturday in bamberg.

He is so sweet and we had a great time. We had a neighborhood yardsale that morning to and Brooke and some of her friends had a lemonade stand and made 74 dollars. They were raising money for Operation Christmas Child. One of my neighbors sent the story to the chronicle & they are suppose to be in it tomorrow so we will see.

Since its been awhile since I have posted I am including a few other pictures. One is of the kids at Carsons birthday party. Thursday night Brooke went to Vacation Bible School with her friend Caroline Dawn that she went to school with last year. Heath and Brady went to play golf while we were there.

Brooke starts school a week from tomorrow so we are going to try to enjoy this week together.

Heath is off thursday and friday so we are going to the beach thursday - saturday with all my family.
