VBS!!

Yeah! We survived Vacation Bible School this week. Our theme was Game Day Central & the kids had a blast. We had around 80 kids each night and 13 of them asked Jesus into their hearts so it was worth all of it. We started sunday night and ended with a family night last night. Brooke and Bradys class both sang last night for family night and Brady had to learn his first bible verse. It was so cute. They were singing heart heart give him my heart and Brady was pointing to his neck so we have to work on showing him where his heart is. His teacher also told me she asked where does Jesus live and that Brady said in the closet. We better start praying hard for him now, lol! The kids are so warn out I am hoping they sleep till lunch time today. We leave for the beach next thursday and I can't wait. We are going with the Barretts and they have a place in pirate land so we are excited about getting away.

Fathers Day

Hope everyone had a great fathers day weekend.

Princess room

Brookes room is finally put together. I also said I would never had a character theme in her room but I couldn't tell her no to this one. Can't bring myself to do the comforter/curtains in princess but I think she is happy with the end result. Poor Brady his new bed is on back order till the end of July. He keeps saying I not have a new bed. We keep telling him they are still making it. Pretty hard for a two year old to understand. We can't get slide.com to work for us so here are the pictures.

More yard work

Spent most of the weekend cleaning out the garage, doing yard work & cleaning the kids rooms. Brookes new carriage bed came thursday so she really thinks she is a princess now. I have to keep reminding her who the queen is. Took a few pictures of them sunday to put in frames we are making for fathers day. Yesterday Caroline came over and play, today we went to Heathers and swam with her and the boys, thursday we are going to the movies and friday we have Gracies birthday party so we are managing to enjoy and stay busy this summer.

Charleston, Birthday Party & Singing

This past weekend we went to Charleston for Brendons birthday party friday night. We shopped all day friday then went to the party. The party was from 6-8 pm then we went back to Chris & Jenns house to let the kids play until around 11pm. Saturday morning when we woke up it was raining. We were suppose to pick up Natalie and go to the beach all day. The kids were not that upset suprisingly. Well, we ate lunch with Wes & Laurie and took Natalie and the kids to the childrens museum downtown. After that we went out to dinner with them at the Crabshack. We got home around 11pm sunday night. Brooke had to be at choir practice sunday morning at 9:30 because they sang in church sunday morning. She did such a good job she sang loud and did all the motions. Brady has his staples taken out yesterday and Dr. Carlton said his head looked great. Well, better go get some stuff done before the kids get up. We are suppose to go see Curious George this morning at Sandhills. Its the free movie of the week.
