We left thursday night for an eleven hour ride to Illinois. The kids did really good traveling and slept most of the trip there. We had a suprise birthday party for my grandmother on saturday for her 8oth. This was our first trip to Illinois in over six years. Brooke got to meet her cousin Allison for the first time and they had a great time. We got home monday morning at 5am.
We had a great time and the kids did so good but I was glad to be home. Since we didn't get home until 5am we were in bed by midnight on New Years Eve. We went to his grandmothers and the guys played poker and we played bingo. Heath is off this week which is so nice.
Yesterday we never left the house. Heath and his dad (and Brady) put up the trampoline, Brooke went to the movies with a friend and I cleaned out the kids closets and toy boxes to try to make room for all this stuff. Hope everyone has a great year in 2008!!

Glad to hear yall made it back safe and sound (w/out any accidents, HA)! Who cuts Brooke's hair, Emma wants her hair like hers. I am a little hesitate on cutting it, b/c she has curly hair and I sure don't feel like straighting every morning for it to look right. Not sure what we will do!
